Zion National Park: Details

Although Zion was still remarkably green for the first week of November, the area down by the Emerald Pools had a lot of color. I found this amazing maple tree, that made me think fondly of all my Canadian friends.

Most beautiful to me was the mix of random colors on the ground.

There weren’t many flowers, but I did see this datura every day on the Pa’rus Trail.

Funny that such a beautiful flower is poisonous. Apparently, death by datura is pretty common; the flower has been frequently used in cases of murder and suicide.

And last a little bit of creepy that I found.
