Sunrise on Half Dome at Olmsted Point Yosemite National Park

Sunrise on Half Dome (and a Squirrel)

Prepare for the most repetitive photography I’ve ever posted. And then, as a reward, a picture of a squirrel. A really cute, fat one.

On our last day in Yosemite, I convinced B. to wake up at 5:30 so that we could make it to Olmsted Point for sunrise. From Olmsted Point, you can see the first rays of sun hit Half Dome, and by know you know all about my crush on Half Dome. Here is the sunrise we saw in a series of very similar pictures.

And, as promised, a picture of a fat squirrel. You’re welcome.
