One of the best parts of our January trip was a close-up coyote sighting. At first it was a bit creepy. We saw the first coyote on the side of the road; Bob got out of the car to look, and another one came sidling up behind him. They are sneaky little buggers.
I kept my distance. These were taken with a zoom lens out the car window.
One even seemed to curtsy.
I was surprised by how unique each one was–such different faces. I suppose one might have been male and one might have been female, but I didn’t think to check out their parts . . . and I’m proud of this fact.

Nice photos.
Wonderful photographs.
They are really cute, let’s work on the domestication immediately! 😛
And afterwards–dingoes!
Let no man utter the phrase “a dingo ate my baby” again. We gotta have dreams…
